JEE Advanced 2025: Registration, Exam Pattern & Preparation Guide

Registration Opens April 23
IIT Kanpur will conduct JEE Advanced 2025, India’s premier engineering entrance exam. The registration process begins on April 23 at 10 AM through jeeadv.ac.in. Candidates must complete their applications by May 2 (11:59 PM) and pay fees by May 5 (11:59 PM).

Key Registration Steps

1. Enter personal and academic details
2. Upload scanned documents (photograph, signature, and category certificate if applicable)
3. Select preferred exam center
4. Submit application and pay fees

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:

• Rank among the top 2.5 lakh in JEE Main 2025
• Be born on or after October 1, 2000 (with age relaxation for SC/ST/PwD candidates)
• Not have attempted JEE Advanced more than twice previously
• Not have taken admission at any IIT before

Exam Structure
The exam will occur on June 22 in two sessions:

• Paper 1: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• Paper 2: 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM

Both computer-based papers will test Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics through multiple-choice and numerical answer questions.

Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT)
B.Arch aspirants must note:

• AAT runs from June 25-26, 2025
• Tests include drawing and aesthetic sensitivity evaluations
• Requires separate registration after qualifying JEE Advanced
