FMGE June 2025 Registration Begins: Key Dates, Eligibility, and How to Apply

The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) June 2025 registration process has officially begun, allowing Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) and other eligible candidates who have completed their medical education abroad to qualify for practicing medicine in India. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the schedule, application details, and important deadlines.

Eligibility Criteria for FMGE June 2025

• Candidates must be Indian citizens or OCIs.
• Must hold a primary medical qualification from an institution recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
• The foreign medical degree should be from a university/institution listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools (WDOMS).
• There is no limit on the number of attempts for FMGE.

How to Apply for FMGE June 2025?

Follow these steps to complete your registration:

1. Visit the Official Website – Go to natboard.edu.in.
2. Select FMGE June 2025 – Click on the exam link under the “Examinations” section.
3. Register as a New User – Provide basic details like name, date of birth, email, and mobile number.
4. Receive Login Credentials – After submission, you will get a User ID and password via email/SMS.
5. Fill the Application Form – Log in, enter educational details, upload documents, and pay the fee.
6. Submit & Take Printout – Review details, submit the form, and keep a copy for future reference.

Application Fee

• General/OBC Candidates: ₹5,500
• SC/ST/PwD Candidates: ₹5,000
  (Payment can be made via debit/credit card, net banking, or UPI)

Exam Pattern & Syllabus

• Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
• Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes
• Sections: Pre-Clinical, Para-Clinical, and Clinical subjects as per the MBBS curriculum.
• Total Questions: 300 (Multiple-Choice Questions)
• Qualifying Marks: 50% (150/300)

Admit Card & Result

• The FMGE admit card will be available for download from July 22, 2025.
• Results will be declared by August 26, 2025, and candidates can check them on the NBEMS website.

Why is FMGE Important?

The FMGE is a mandatory screening test for Indian students who have completed their MBBS or equivalent degree abroad. Clearing this exam allows them to:
