NEW DELHI: When speaking to a public gathering in Delhi’s Dwarka, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave the Rs 2,500 to the ladies. BJP chief JP Nadda said that if the BJP wins power, the first Cabinet meeting will adopt the “Mahila Samridhi Yojana.” Speaking at the introduction of the first section of the three-part BJP manifesto, he said that the AAP had promised Delhi women ₹1,000 per month the previous year. Nadda stated, “But they didn’t give it. They didn’t give money to women in Punjab either.” He said that the BJP-run states were giving women monthly allowances.
During his speech, Nadda emphasized how the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has changed the political landscape in India by transforming political manifestos into meaningful pledges. Citing the fulfillment of 499 out of 500 promises made in 2014 and 225 out of 235 promises made in 2019, he emphasized the BJP’s demonstrated track record. Nadda promised that the party’s present Delhi manifesto would be carried out exactly as written.
Nadda voiced his concerns about the current governance situation in Delhi by criticizing the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for allegedly encouraging corruption and ignoring welfare programs for political purposes. He pledged that the BJP would prioritize the welfare of the populace while working toward a government free from corruption.
