On the seventh death anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Droupadi Murmu, Union ministers, and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla paid heartfelt tributes at his memorial, Sadaiv Atal, in New Delhi. Vajpayee, a towering figure in Indian politics, was not only a respected statesman but also a poet, visionary leader, and a reformer whose policies shaped modern India.

The Prime Minister highlighted Vajpayee’s lifelong commitment to national service and credited him with inspiring the vision of a Viksit Bharat (developed India).
Atal Bihari Vajpayee served as Prime Minister of India three times — briefly in 1996, and then from 1998 to 2004. His six-year tenure is remembered for political stability, bold decisions, and transformative reforms.
