With an emotional post, Karan Johar finally put an end to the rumors and confirmed the film debut of Ibrahim, the son of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh.
In the lengthy essay, Karan Johar discussed his lengthy acquaintance with Saif Ali Khan, his initial encounter with Amrita Singh. And how he knows this family, where movies are “their genes, blood, and their passion.”

Karan Johar opened the note by sharing a story about how he first met Amrita Singh when he was just 12 years old.
“I was only 12 years old when I first encountered Amrita, or Dingy as my loved ones like to call her. She worked with my father on the movie Duniya for @dharmamovies. And I still clearly recall the grace, vigor, and command she had with the camera.
Karan Johar continued, “However, the warmest Chinese meal we had with her and her hairstylist. following our first meeting, followed by a James Bond movie, is what I remember the most! The strength of her grace—which endures through her and her kids as well—was demonstrated by the way she treated me like her own the moment we met.
Karan Johar then wrote about his initial thoughts regarding Saif Ali Khan. “My first encounter with Saif was in Anand Mahendru’s office. Young, stylish, endearing, and carefree—exactly like when I first met Ibrahim. And a strong friendship that goes from our generation to luckily our kids!!!”
